Woof Woof Café and Spa is the small dog specialist in the Olean area.

The owner comes from an extensive background in the graphic arts industry, and as an art educator. She is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Dog Grooming with a certificate in ALL BREEDS GROOMING with special study in small breed specific trims.

She said "I believe my artistic background and ability adds to my proficiency in grooming and has contributed greatly to my skill in "hand finishing" which is becoming a lost art in the grooming business. Many dogs are clipped very short and all one length because it is faster. Hand finishing after the dog is clipped is done using small detailing scissors and thinning shears to give the dog a more natural or sculpted look depending on the breed and coat texture. My goal is to groom the purebred dogs to their AKC standard pattern and the mixed breeds to a standard of their own enhancing their best features."

When approaching the entrance of Woof Woof Café and Spa, plants, flowers and the soothing sound of a water fountain welcomes clients and their people. Upon entering the reception area you are immediately surrounded by a calmness with soft music and plants. The intent is to create a spa-like atmosphere which is relaxing for the dogs and their owners, making both feel comfortable and at home There are no restraints and absolutely no drugs administered at any time. Dogs are never cage dried. They are dried on the grooming table while gently being brushed out. Each dog receives a free blueberry facial and all the time they need individually to feel comfortable and look their best.

Special services may be added on such as a variety of spa packages, teeth brushing and nail polish.

The Spa features all natural shampoos, conditioners and between bath grooming spritz as well as other grooming accessories. There is a large selection of plush toys, doggie jewelry and accessories available.

Woof Woof Café and Spa is open to accommodate dog parents’ work schedule. Hours are by appointment only. We are more than happy to work with you and be flexible to accommodate your schedule.
